![]() ![]() I have never quite figured it out myself, so I would be curious to hear what you guys think.Īlso, as a side note, do you know of any good Sonic Creepypasta? Maria's Revenge is pretty good, if flawed, and Sonic the Hedgehog Fun For All The Family is good, if not really creepy. Compare it to something like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon, which are both very popular, and childhood heroes, but have much less creepypasta. Whilst many old games have a lot of creepypasta, due to the child-innocence and horror element, Sonic is still unusually popular. Now, why are these Sonic creepypasta so popular? I know it isn't the only classic game franchise that has popular creepypasta, but it's unusually popular, and definitely has a place in the creepypasta legacy. The only slightly good part of it is Sonic.exe's design and the fangame, which I think does a terrific job with the terrible source material to work with. ![]() I literally cannot think of one single good element of the actual story. Sonic.exe is, well, an awful amateur horror story. Fun fact: when I first read it on the Sonic News Network a few years back, I honestly thought it was wikia vandalism. Tails Doll is just weird, like some bizzare internet hoax. Personally, I think both are downright awful. We all know Sonic.exe and Tails Doll Curse. Yet it is incredibly popular, to the extent that that creepypasta wiki has blocked the writing of new Sonic creepypasta on their site. I've heard Ben Drowned is pretty good, but I don't think it is as good as the two I listed. The only creepypasta I actually like are Funnymouth and Candle Cove (which is really a horror story and is completely different). I'm also surprised to see there isn't a fully fledged thread on this topic.Īlmost of it is pretty terrible, and yes, most creepypasta in general is terrible. Here's something I'm truly puzzled by: the popularity of Sonic creepypasta. ![]()
